hi.what a surprise! GASP! i'm back , but maybe only for a day((: haahah. i can't help it. i've been really busy.
Anyway, it's Ramadhan now. the LAST THIRD of Ramadhan. have you done enough over the last 22 days? The question is, what HAVE YOU done over the last 22 days of Ramadhan? wait, TIME CHECK! its less than the 10 DAYS of ramadhan. The night of power aka lailatul qadar will be on/in one of the last ten days. the reward is more than 1000 months=84 years. Just a few hours of ibadah to get 84 years of baraqah. subhanallah. wouldn't you want to chase and race to find this night of power?
friends, insya allah we'll wake up at night to do our qiyam prayers be it at the mosque or at home. if it's possible, do it in the mosque. the atmosphere is really different and it's a good experience for those 1st timers. and sahur at the mosque feels really different. you can feel the ukhuwwah between the fellow muslims. and while you're at it, make new friends be it young or old and you'll start realising the lives of other fellow muslims. some travel really far just to the qiyam prayers at the mosque, some have to sneak out etc. go, go make friends and stregthen the brotherhood of the fellow muslims.
and i hope, this year's Ramadhan is as meaningful for you as it is for me. and, never stop praying for forgiveness and do not ever forget your parents in your prayers regardless of your relationship with them. insya allah, they'll be forgiven too.
if i were able to pray for Ramadhan not to ever go, i would.
